Detach

“Detach” is a photography series that represents a vigilant exploration of the interplay between observation of myself and the surroundings. It incorporates the concept of Dualism, which is expressed through not just its tone and/or dark and light but also the subject matter itself. Photography is a medium that functions paradoxically as it connects my body and mind yet, simultaneously, it separates them. Therefore, this project serves as a resonating tool that empowers me to express the urge to escape, discover, and cure myself and the close ones through doing and making photography.
